Rachel “Raquel” Léviss continues to speak out about her history of abuse after her former fiancé, James Kennedywas arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence.

Leviss, 29, took to her Instagram Story on Wednesday, December 18, to share an earlier post about her complicated feelings. regarding his romance with Kennedy, 32 years old.

“I stand by what I wrote here. Being in an abusive relationship is confusing because you believe in your partner’s potential and you can’t understand how someone who says they love you is intentionally hurting you,” she wrote. “Bad times can be few and far between, it’s easy to minimize abuse and want to believe that the person is capable of changing. »

Leviss dated Kennedy from 2016 to 2021, which was documented on Bravo’s Vanderpump Rules. During the season 9 reunion in early 2022, Leviss and Kennedy announced that they had finished their commitment.

“I was telling them about my plans to break up with James and how I intended to leave the ring box on the counter when he returned from Europe.
