The radiant Blac Chyna (White seems to be referred to by her stage name) recently sat down to discuss her path to sobriety, which she says hasn’t always been easy.

“In the past, when I tried to [be sober]I would relapse,” White explained, noting that this usually happened between four and six months.

“It feels good,” she relayed. “[I feel] clear.”

White, a mother of two, also recognized the importance of being in a better place for the well-being of others among the reasons she remains sober.

Talk quickly turned to White’s recent engagement to Milano, which, as reported here, The explosionpopped the question in October, a year after they started dating.

White says she had no idea what her future husband had planned when he got down on one knee in front of a supportive crowd at the Howard University homecoming game.

“That’s why I just watched it [silently] for a second,” she recalls.

“I forgot the crowd was there,” White continued, “and it was just me and Derrick. I had to take it all in.

Milano, who accompanied White to the interview, admitted how “hard” it was to keep her sweet intentions a secret.

“Everyone wants to tell Angela everything, so I [had to make] of course people [I told could] keep it tight,” he shared.

A sweet moment with Wendy Williams shows White’s growth as a person

White’s continued transformation follows his choice to convert to Christianity sometime in 2022.

After her baptism, she deleted her OnlyFans account and reversed most of the plastic surgery she had acquired since becoming famous.

Perhaps one of the most heartwarming displays of White’s evolution was featured in the Lifetime documentary series, “Where’s Wendy Williams?” ”, which centered on the former talk show host when she was rumored to be struggling with sobriety. A statement released before its broadcast revealed that Williams had been diagnosed with primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia.

As seen in the docuseries, White makes a surprise visit to Williams’ apartment during her visit to New York and warmly engages with her, bringing out moments of vulnerability in both women.

White opened up about their connection earlier this year, which first came about thanks to Williams repeatedly speaking negatively about her during his Hot Topic segments.

“I [eventually] did the show and while we were sitting there on set, she said, ‘Let’s go to dinner tonight,'” White recalled.

“I really wanted her to see me, [so] we ordered so much food [and] had a great time. »

Time heals everything as she continues to rebuild herself with her “mom”, Tokyo Toni

On the one-year anniversary of her sobriety, an emotional White was stunned when her mother, Tokyo Toni, surprised her with an appearance on the Tamron Hall Show.

Previously separated, the two had reconnected well before the on-camera reunion, but White couldn’t help but be proud of how far the two had come in their relationship.

“I never thought I would get to this point,” White expressed through tears. “That’s what moms are for.”

More recently, Toni, still as fiery, went to bat for his daughter when an ex alleged White physically abused him.

“I came there and beat your f***ing king,” she claimed in a social media rant, “[and] I’m going to do your fucking king’s ass the same way again! »
