Snoop Dogg is preparing to become a grandfather eight times, thanks to his only daughter, Cori Broadus! In a interview with E! News, Cori confirmed she’s expecting her first child with her fiancé Wayne Deuce. Broadus shared details about her pregnancy, including the baby’s gender, how far along it was and how her parents reacted.

Was Cori Broadus and her fiancé’s pregnancy planned?

Cori Broadus started 2024 with recovery of a stroke that landed her in the hospital. Now, the 25-year-old will celebrate the holidays and close out the year with his special gift! Cori told E! that she and Wayne Deuce had not planned the pregnancy. When she found out in October, it was a shock, but the growing family is also grateful.

“I found out on October 28th. This baby is so unplanned, but we are so blessed,” she told the outlet.

Despite her stroke and ongoing battle with lupus – which doctors diagnosed at the age of six – Cori Broadus said she “feels great”. Still, the pregnancy is considered high-risk and doctors are worried about her and the baby, Broadus said. If all goes well, Cori and Wayne will welcome their daughter in April or May 2025. The mother is currently four months pregnant, according to E! News.

“…God ​​has his hands on me, and me and the baby are perfectly fine,” she said.

Cori said she looks forward to raising her little girl with love and trust. Her goal is to make her daughter feel “the prettiest in the world.”

“Growing up, I wasn’t very confident and I never felt like I fit in, so just to instill all the beautiful things in her head from a young age,” the mom-to-be explained.

Meanwhile, she says Papa Deuce is excited to have a mini version of his fiancée. “He knows she’s going to be so beautiful and he can’t wait to build things for her and give her all the love in the world.” Cori Broadus said.

And Cori says Snoop Dogg and his mom, Shante Broadus, are ready to put their grandparents’ experience to good use!

“My mom and dad were so excited; their little girl is having a baby,” Cori said. But she said Snoop Dog was “…hoping to have a grandson though.”

Wayne Deuce proposed to Cori in 2022. However, the following year, they postponed their wedding. Earlier this month, Broadus told E! that wedding planning was “the most miserable time.” The details of the celebration caused fights between the couple.
