Bambi doesn’t feel the label of “baby mama”, especially coming from Lil Scrappy. In a recent “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” clip, Bam addresses her ex-husband for using the term about her. As a reminder, the former couple divorced in 2023 but welcomed three children named Breland, Xylo and Cali during their marriage.

Bambi explains why she’s not a ‘baby mama’

The reality show showed Amy Luciani, Spice, Scrap and Bambi chatting. After Amy concluded her argument, Scrappy replied: “…I don’t like being in drama with my baby mama.”

Bam quickly asked if he was talking about Erica Dixon. He said no and confirmed he was talking about her. “Don’t think of me as your little mama. Don’t do that, “ Bambi said. He replied, “What do you mean?” and she doubled her position. At that point, Karlie Redd stepped in and said: “She’s your ex-wife.” He then explained the point he was making. However, the scene cut to Bam’s confessional comments.

“When Scrap is in my presence, you will absolutely respect me and you will never call me your baby mama because you married me and I gave you three children. This will never give a baby mama,” Bambi clarified.

As a reminder, Erica and the rapper share an 18-year-old daughter named Emani, whom they had out of wedlock. Although Erica and Scrap dated and got engaged in the early 2010s, Bambi is the only woman he ever married and had children with during his marriage.

In December 2024, he welcomed his second child out of wedlock, a son named Kyrie. Scrap conceived the child during an alleged threesome sexual encounter with two women, including Kyrie’s mother, Shakira.

Housemates weigh in on Bam’s position

Lyrica Anderson wrote: “Ex WIFE, that’s what you say. Niggas think “baby mama” looks cute!

@dominiquechinn agreed, writing, “I mean, they were married. So ex-wife makes more sense, right?

@thee_only_cici talked about Bam when mentioning Erica. She wrote, “I was with her until she brought up Erica’s name, girl, you still could have made yourself understood… because he really wanted to marry Erica if we were realistic…”

Meanwhile, @indexribeabull joked: “That’s it, baby mama.”

@natural.beauu offered a different perspective, writing, “I’m an ex-wife and this nigga could call me his IDC brother.”

But @diamondshinezbright said: “There is a huge difference between a little mom and an ex-wife! »

And @chicachicaduhhh_ argued, “When you are no longer married, you will still be a baby mama…”
