Have you ever watched such a filthy and disgusting film that the only way to recover from your visualization experience is to take a hot shower to pipe so that you can melt your most outside skin layer? If you are in this kind of thing, then you absolutely have to discover Robert Morgan Stopmotion, The British psychological horror film which mixes a live action with the hitchhiking animation in such a graphic and disturbing way that you will have to throw the darkest Robot chicken Sketch (darkest sketch! The darkest sketch!) You can think of removing the edge before entering the company. Border body horror, Stopmotion Starts innocent enough, but its sense of perspective quickly turns into a psychotic break that you may not have the stomach.
A puppet and its masters
Stopmotion Ella centers (Aisling Franciosi), a talented hitchhiker animator who lives in the shadow of her emotionally violent mother, Suzanne (Stella Gonet), success. Ella works exhausting hours in the animation studio of her mother, giving life to her visions a dying frame both, because Suzanne’s arthritis does not allow her to do the work herself. Despite Ella’s obvious talent, it is clear that she will always be ordered second if she does not look at her own creations instead of always working tirelessly on someone else.
When Suzanne suffers suddenly in StopmotionElla first thinks that it is her duty to finish her mother’s film before her death. Installing in an abandonment building belonging to his boyfriend, Tom (Tom York), Ella continues her mother’s work, but decides to remove the project when she has a race with a little girl (Caoilinn Springall) who lives in One of the neighboring units and finds its story boring. By starting her own new project, the little girl manipulates her instead of working on a story on a girl in the woods driven by a creature known as “The Ash Man”.
You actually actually acted
While Ella continues to work with the little girl, Stopmotion aggressively blurs the line between the animation in stop-motion against live actionas well as perception in relation to reality. With her creativity controlled by another emotionally abusive puppet master, Ella ceases to use mortician wax to create her characters in favor of the use of meat and the spoiled flesh of the dead that she finds in the drink. Although they entertain the idea of ingesting hallucinogens for creative inspiration, its Panus breakdowns are not the result of substances altering the mind, but rather its own psychological state naturally.
Waking up an apartment destroyed many times, Ella is continuously encouraged by the little girl to review the images of the ash man who would have been shot dead when she was physically – but not mentally – present. Feeling immense pressure to create a significant work of art while crying the declining health of her mother, Ella continues to spir as her figures become more and more detailed and grotesque, making her hallucinate lack of sleep and appropriate nutrition while it is isolating itself even more with an artistic intention. With each electricity failure and subsequent exchange with the little girl who follows her wherever she goes StopmotionElla is getting closer to the end of her masterpiece to the detriment of her relationships and his rapid deterioration of mental health.
Stopmotion streaming
Through its many stylistic changes, Stopmotion is a trip to make when Ella’s creations take their own life. While Ella finds herself in a state of deep psychosis, she does not stop at nothing to leave her brand as a serious author, with horrible consequences which are equal parts imagined and too real, but never fully understood its point of view. Operate as an edifying story to get lost in the artistic process, Stopmotion is a must for anyone who does not know when or how to take a break when his whole world begins to collapse around his creative vision.
I give you a good warning, however, because there were several moments when I really covered myself with my hands with my hands, I looked through my fingers and I said: “Hell no, I don’t look That.”
Stopmotion is an assault against the senses, and not for those who have low tolerance for gore. But if you see my warning as a challenge, then you can broadcast this macabre masterpiece on Hulu to date.
