There have been only five years that The witch Was the hottest series on Netflix and ready to become the next big fantastic franchise at the back of Henry Cavill’s performance as Geralt de Rivia. Since then, Cavill has left, and fans have followed because it has become clear that the series was doing its own thing and was not going to adapt one of the successful Polish books or even the massively successful game, The Witcher 3. That’s why when The Witcher: Sirens of DepthsThe last animated entry of the franchise was published, the fans knew not to have their hopes, and even with the reduced expectations, it managed to disappoint fans of the series, the fans of the games, and in particular the fans of novels.

The witch: Sirens of depths Allegedly adapt the news A little sacrificeA bewitching love story, both between a king and a mermaid and between the bard Esssi and Geralt. In history, Geralt must translate between King Agloval and the Siren Sh’eenaz, and none wanted to abandon their life with the other, but they can not help but vacuum. Fantasy fans are used to being disappointed with the adaptations of books, whether The wheel of time Make his own thing (although he improves every season), The watch twist the world of Terry Pratchett in something unrecognizable, or even Power ringsWho wanted to show fans a different age from Middle -earth but needed a seasons and a half to hit his stride. The Witcher: Sirens of Depths is another reminder that Henry Cavill, a huge nerd and fan of the original books, left because he thought that producers did not respect the source material. If films like this can expect from Netflix in the future, it will not take long before all the fans of the show come out behind it.
