Before writing half of the programs on Paramount +, Taylor Sheridan was an actor. The man behind programs like “Yellowstone” and “Tulsa King” and the scripts for films such as “Sicario” and “Hell or High Water” made his teeth with a hobby, a hobby to which he sometimes comes back when he needs someone to play, let’s say, A cool cowboy that goes out with Bella Hadid.
Years before becoming known as a Hollywood cowboy, I knew Sheridan as a mysterious man named Danny Boyd in the program of courageous teenage detective “Veronica Mars” and as deputy for the cop worthy of hate David Hale “Sons of anarchy” from FX. It was perhaps two of the most prominent television roles in Sheridan, but they are far from his only actor credits. He had parties that return to “Walker, Texas Ranger” in 1995, and can be seen in unique roles in programs like “CSI”, “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman”, “NYPD Blue” and even “Star Trek: Enterprise”. He also appears in an episode of the extremely popular “NCIS” franchise, in what would prove to be his last role before walking behind the camera.
Before he was a cowboy, Taylor Sheridan played cops and soldiers
Sheridan does not appear in the flagship show “NCIS”, which is in particular Always one of the most watched on television shows. Instead, he takes a turn at the star plate on “NCIS: Los Angeles”, the series of spin-offs of the west coast as popular but also slightly lighter which lasted from 2009 to 2023. The Show follows a team of naval investigative agents led by characters played by Chris O’Donnell and Ll Cool J, and Sheridan continued to play authority here with an appearance invited as a captain of the Navy Jennings. Jennings does not really make a ton, but he plays a character coded by heroes rather than a villain, and the episode presents many disorderly and contradictory nationalist trends which are a signature of the “NCIS” world and its own work.
If you fail to see Sheridan on the screen (it’s even possible After these episodes “Yellowstone” centered on Travis?), It should be noted that the episode in question is called “enemy inside”. It is an outing at the end of season 2 which follows a possible assassination plot involving a Venezuelan politician. The actor “The Pacific” Joshua Bitton also appears, just like Mynddy Crist (“Dark Skies”) and the Telenovela Star Eduardo Yáñez. After appearing in this episode in 2011, Sheridan disappeared from the screen for five years, finally returning under the spotlight to play a character credited simply as “Cowboy” in his best film, “Hell or High Water”.
Sheridan’s acting career is interesting, as it suggests that before disappearing in Western tinted roles and has known has been known As a real breederThe actor-writer was typical as cops and soldiers. He continued to play a few additional authority figures after his role “NCIS: Los Angeles”, playing a CIA field officer in the film directed by Chris Hemsworth and Michael Shannon “12 Strong” and the Sergeant-Major Cody Spears In “Lioness”, his CIA Thriller Series with Nicole Kidman and Zoe Saldaña. At one point, Sheridan seemed to exchange his badge and his weapon for a cowboy hat and a set of spurs, a decision that made him a polarizing but very popular Hollywood hitmaker.
