Before he was the star of a successful streaming series, Jack Reacher was making his way through the United States in Lee Child’s novels. The British author created his hero as a former Wolf-Loup military policeman with a penchant for a nomadic and minimalist lifestyle. While the character is known to be lonely, through what is now 29 pounds from Jack Reacher, Child’s Hero has met and teams up with all kinds of cohort, knowledge and ally.

It’s the same for the streaming series too, with “Reacher” season 3 – based on the best novel by Jack Reacher – According to the former officer of the titular army while he teams up with DEA agent Susan Duffy (the best thing that happens to “run” in a certain time) to eliminate a questionable carpet import company. Previously, the show has seen Reacher joining forces with a local police service, and we saw a lot of her friend Frances Niagley (Maria Sten), who was a member of the 110th Special Investigation Unit in Reachor in the army and is often called to help his former boss from the many links in which he finds himself.

What we might not see in “Reacher”, however, is the protagonist who joins with characters from the original Jack Reacher universe from the outside of the child. The prolific author, who is an executive producer of the series, did not stop at 29 pounds, writing a series of news and a book breaking the rules of Prower and personal ethics. But he also got entirely into other universes, teaming up with other authors to bring Jack to spot in the world of similar modern literary heroes. At one point, it involved co-writing a news with Karin Slaughter, author of Will Trent’s novels.

While Lee Child was busy creating a series of novels on a traveling American action hero while writing in his native United Kingdom, the American writer Karin Slaughter created a series of books on the special agent of Georgia Bureau of Investigation Will Trent and his partner Faith Mitchell. Although Trent Will’s novels are not as numerous as Jack Reacher books (there are currently 15 Trent outings), they are very popular in its own right and similar to the children’s series in that they focus on a singular hero capable of farms that other agents simply cannot correspond. In this sense, it was only a matter of time before the fan and Trent did not meet to a certain extent, and in 2019, this meeting itself occurred.

“Cleaning gold” is a new / novel by Child and Slaughter which presents both Jack Reacher and Will Trent. The story sees that the latter are under cover at Fort Knox as part of his investigation into a 22 -year -old murder. When he embarks on his mission, he has only one suspect: Jack Reacher. In this case, redo is also in Fort Knox as part of its own mission to overthrow an illicit group operating within the American army – something with which the former military policeman is very familiar. Of course, it does not take long before the duo forms an alliance to tackle an even greater task after discovering a plot than neither could have foreseen.

Most criticism of “cleaning the gold” are quite positive, so it seems that it is a well -received team, even if we do not remember the reachrone or the best outing of Trent. The best novels Jack Reacher are loved by fans, and his Trent team was still unusual to usurp the most famous novels in the series. However, it is interesting to see how far the universe of Reachder spreads.

The payment of Jack Reacher is even more extensive than even some fans do not make it. For example, “Cleaning The Gold” was not the first time that Lee Child’s hero had ventured in front of his own literary universe. Jack Reacher has once crossed the world of “bones”, In a news from 2017 which associated the child in the same way with a writer, the latter being Kathy Reichs.

Reichs is a medico-legal anthropologist whose own novels presented the character of Temperance Brennan. Brennan is an anthropologist based on Reichs who was used as the basis of the temperance of Emily Deschanel “bones” Brennan in the procedural “bones” of the fox. The new “Faking A Murderer” appeared in the anthology “Matchup”, and has seen backwards to Brennan after it is falsely accused of murder. Again, it was not the most famous adventure of Jack Reacher, but it was a careful little addition to the tradition of the two characters.

The same goes for the Reachor team with Will Trent. The two characters have since received their own series, with “Will Trent” now in his third season on ABC, and “Reacher” in the same way in his third season on Prime Video. At this stage, there is absolutely no indication or need for one of the two to cross on the screen, but it is interesting to think of future potential crossings – especially in the case of looking. The character is an American hero such an archetypal that fans will surely be impatient to see how he measures other heroes of beloved action. We will almost never see a director of director of director / James Bond, or a film to see against John Wick, but the concept of taking the hero of Alan Ritchson and to cross it in another universe is an attractive perspective.
