Jenna Bush Hager begins a new era of Today Fourth hour of the show.

Following Feast‘s last episode January 10 Today with Hoda and Jenna relaunched under the new title Today with Jenna & Friends. Bush Hager, 43, will appear alongside a rotary panel of famous guest guests until the official KOTB replacement is selected.

“The one sitting in this seat will have the simplest work in the world because they are sitting next to you,” said Kotb, 60, in an episode of September 2024 Hoda and Jenna After announcing it Today exit. “I mean, the only thing they have to do is not to laugh so hard that they pee their pants. That’s it. They just have to hang on. You are this brilliant light, you have always been, and it’s your turn.”

At the time, Bush Hager replied: “If I’m brilliant, it’s because I’m sitting in your glow.”

Kotb helped Bush Hager announce its first range of guest guests during her last week of TodayDescribing his first three choices as “Homerun, Homerun, Homerun [and] Wow »on the January 6 episode of Hoda and Jenna.

After hearing the brand new Jenna and friends The theme song, Kotb said in tears to his televised partner: “I imagined you and how proud I will be proud to walk here from this wall with this song. It’s going to be great. It’s going to be incredible.”
