Sophomoric horror comedy Y2k Imagine what could have happened if, instead, technology was trying to kill people, and although it bombed in theaters, it is now one of the hottest films in Max.
A killing house party
Y2k is a nostalgic film perfectly targeted for all the aged 37 to 48 years old with non-stop references at the turn of the century, including a Tamogotchi killer, a time-soundtrack in time and an incredible cameo that you should not go out and spoil yourself for yourself. In fact, the film is at its best just after midnight when three non -cool friends, Danny (Julian Dennison), Eli (Jaedan Martell) and Garrett (the writer / director of the film, Kyle Mooney), are at a high school party. As the real computer problem, Y2k is much more interesting in the abstract, before it turns into a standard horror film, because the massacre at the start of the house feast is one of the best scenes of horror film of the decade, and the rest of the film is … there.
Not a fairly funny comedy, not a frightening enough horror
Y2k Almost combines a teenage comedy of the 2000s in the 2000s with a horror comedy, but the two halves of the film, like Pineapple pizzadoes not have good taste together. It is not as funny as it could be a direct comedy, and not as dark or inventive as it could be a pure horror film, but it has great comic rhythms, and some creative dead, but only one where they combine perfectly to create a moment so shocking and unexpected, it will provide a reaction of anyone. It is disjointed, ill -punctuated and lacking the brand, but in a few years it will be a horror success.
