Sean Penn’s rugged look turns heads
Penn was photographed while walking outside with a noticeable appearance. He wore a dark olive green jacket on a gray t-shirt and relaxed and slightly crumpled pants. His hair seemed to be ruffled and neglected because he sported a light beard, adding to the robust look. His expression is neutral to slightly serious while he looks on the side.
Dylan, whose mother is the ex-wife of Penn, Robin Wright, was seen in a transparent maxi black skirt associated with a black leather jacket and sneakers. She completed her look with a chic bun and a Yves Saint Laurent black bag.
The pair later left for the same vehicle, with Dylan behind the wheel.

Sean Penn Slams only provides LGBTQ + actors in LGBTQ + roles

“Listen, I am totally on board with any industry, each industry, the cinema too, faced with the problem of what had been a minimum diversity,” he said. “There is no one in a genre or alternative life or life style that does not interest me if they have a story in their hearts they want to tell.”
Penn has rejected the idea that only LGBTQ + actors should portray the LGBTQ + characters, using its role as “milk” as an example:

“What I know is that the solution does not limit the casting of hamlet to Danish princes. And not only is it an attack on the imagination that is our bread and our butter, but but [it] is a demonstration of the imaginative that would ask for it. And I find culturally offensive and venal and sad whether it is the easy solution for people to have group thought and all these defenses. I’m just going to choose a movie out of the air when it comes to it, you know, no more black actors working. Thank God, the fight is in them when you see something like Straight Outta Compton. Super film, great performances. “”

Sean Penn is thinking about the role of “milk”

Thinking about his “milk” performance, added Penn, “I feel so lucky that I was able to play Harvey Milk, because guess what, for me, as an actor who was not a gay man or a hetero man, it was a different personality, and that is what we are supposed to be able to do.”
He concluded: “I do not know the solution. I don’t know where it will go, but I would not be allowed to play this role today. That’s sure. “
Several other actors have acquired praise of criticism to represent LGBTQ + characters

Penn is one of several actors who, despite not publicly identifying themselves as LGBTQ +, have acquired praise of criticism to represent LGBTQ +characters.
Others include Charlize Theron in “Monster” (2003), Benedict Cumberbatch in “The Imitation Game” (2014), Cate Blanchett in “Carol” (2015), Timothee Chalamet in “Call Me by Your Name” (2017), and Jake Gyllenhaal and Heath Ledger in “Brokeback Mountain” (2005).
While Penn continues to make rare public appearances and reflect on his career, it is clear that he remains deeply committed to conversations that shape the future of Hollywood, even if it means wading in controversy.
