Death to Smochy Was considered the worst film of the year by Roger Ebert after its release in 2002, and the critic of Chicago Sun-Totes went so far as to say that “only extremely talented people could even have thought of making a film” so bad, so badly calculated, so lacking in connection with any possible audience “. Although it looks like a scathing indictment of this dark satire about the behind-the-scenes exploits of children’s programming and types of conversations that occur in camera in television networks, I cannot say that I agree with Ebert on it, even if I have the impression that his criticisms were almost always in the nose during his long and long career.

Everyone that Sheldon meets Death to Smochy is absolutely horrible, but they soon discover how he is actually the real deal and sincerely believes each cheesy platitude that comes out of his mouth while trying to transmit a positive message to children with his show.
A lighthouse of light in a world of darkness
Death to Smochy is difficult to look at because you just want Sheldon to rush under pressure all the time. Although it is getting closer several times, it is refreshing to know that it does not matter how far and above its head, it never loses the plot and wants to use its platform on Kidnet for good.
Robin Williams Play the perfect villain, and I am shocked that he was nominated for an actor the worst support at The Razzies because his disturbed performance is exactly what you expect from a corrupt television personality that stops nothing to recover their time slot when someone infinitely healthier has a chance to replace it. In addition, Edward Norton knew the mission because his image of good boy comes from such a serious place that you cannot help rooting for Sheldon when his vision of the world is completely broken along the way when he realizes that he is working for a bunch of crooks.
Look at death to summon
Although it is not the wincurn equipment, Death to Smochy Deserves better because of the way in which its many side plots converge magnificently in the third act without seeming to be sloppy or having to be explicitly explained to the public. Sheldon Mopes is the real deal, and everyone wants a piece of him for selfish and insidious reasons, which means that the public doubles on the smoothy while hoping that he fails because it would be the ultimate tragedy.
Overthrowing public expectations with its unique brand of cynicism and misanthropy, Death to Smochy is lost in time because it is nowhere on steam.
