Spoilers for “Daredevil: Born Again” follow.
“Daredevil: Born Again” The season 1 ended on a note from Downer for Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox). His biggest enemy, Wilson Fisk / The Kingpin (Vincent d’Onofrio), is no longer just the mayor of New York, he is the Big Apple dictator. With martial law and an anti-vigilant working group on its side, Fisk surpasses Daredevil more than ever. To make it fall, Matt said to Karen Page (Deborah Ann Woll) that they will need an army.

What could this army look like? At the end of the episode, Matt brings together his current allies: Karen, legal partner Kirsten McDuffie (Nikki M. James), Former detective Cherry (Clark Johnson)Cop present (and honest) Angie Kim (Ruibo Qian), etc. So, not many superpowering heavy strikers. Who else could he enlist this army?
Punisher (Jon Bernthal) also escaped imprisonment by Fisk, so he will probably be back for the next battle. It could also be a means of Bring the defenders and / or the assassin of Matt, the ex-girlfriend Elektra Natchos (Elodie Yung). But would this team still be called the defenders?
Matt’s speech from “An Army” sent my comic fan antenna. One of the great influences of “Born Again” so far is The 2019-2023 race by Chip Zdarsky and Marco Checketto on “Daredevil”. The first half of the race, following Matt trying to leave Daredevil behind while Fisk acts as mayor of New York, is what is inspired “Born Again” so far. The second half of the race (the “red fist saga”) follows Matt and Elektra bringing together an army of vigilance, the fist, to fight injustice beyond what superheroes do normally.

Could season 2 of “Born Again” be about to adapt “Red Fist Saga”?
Born again season 2 will see Daredevil assembling an army against the ankle
The description of Matt of “An Army” has a lot to live – what heroes of Marvel comics could be possible? I think the above -mentioned Elektra is obvious to include. During “Daredevil” by Zdarsky, Elektra begins to use the name and the costume of Daredevil to prove to Matt that she can be a hero like him. It is one of the best stories of comics in Elektra and blackberries for adaptation.

Then the defenders. Luke Cage (Mike Colter) and Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) have not yet obtained their own “Born Again” reintroductions in the MCU, so maybe it could be their moment? No one claims exactly to get Finn Jones returning as Iron Fist, but Jessica Henwick said she wanted to come back as Colleen Wing. “Born again” also presented a few small appearances by Jack Duquesne / Swordsman (Tony Dalton), and he put heads with Fisk. These appearances now seem to develop Swordsman for a biggest role in season 2, probably as a ally from Daredevil.
On the other hand, Spider-Man of Tom Holland is prohibited to appear in Disney +shows. So don’t expect it to be a finger on Daredevil’s fist.

Should the army be everything Hero, However? In the comics, the fist was mainly made up of super-villains. Matt, who had become disillusioned by the criminal justice system, burst into the super-criminal prison, the raft, released from many detainees and have brought to reform and rehabilitate them.
THE The Marvel cinematographic universe, however, does not have many recurring villains To reuse like that. Buck Cashman / Bullet, one of the main members of the fist in the comics, was redesigned in “Daredevil: Born Again” as man in the Fisk body. Maybe the show could finally bring back Alice Eve as typhoid Mary for her late battle with Daredevil?
The only other villain in freedom is the one who hates even more than Fisk: Benjamin Poindexter / Bullseye (Wilson Bethel), the man who murdered the best friend of Matt Murdock, Foggy Nelson (Elden Henson). Dex tried to assassinate Fisk in episode 8 of “Born again”, and the final shows that it is still on the run. Could Daredevil and Bullseye come together because the enemy of their enemy is their friend?
“Daredevil: Born again” is streaming on Disney +. Season 2 should be presented in first in 2026.
