Emma Heming Willis revealed the cover of his next book, “The Foret Journey”, a sincere guide for caregivers inspired by her experience after her husband Bruce Willis“Diagnosis of dementia.

Sharing personal reflections on Instagram, the actress stressed that the emotional dementia of the tasks admires families and the vital role of the support of caregivers.

Bruce Willis’ wife hopes that her story offers hope, advice and strength to those who are faced with similar challenges.

In a deeply personal Instagram publication, Emma spoke of the moment that changes the life that has redefined everything for her family.

She also revealed the cover of her next book alongside a touching photo in black and white of her with her husband Bruce.

The book, she explained, was born from the emotional whirlwind which followed the diagnosis of Bruce with Aphasia, which was then diagnosed as a frontotemporal dementia.

“Born from sorrow, shaped by love and guided by a goal,” she wrote. “This is the book I needed when Bruce was diagnosed for the first time and I was frozen with fear and uncertainty.”

Entitled “Journey unexpected”, Emma added: “This is the book I trust will help the next caregiver. It is filled with support, insight and hope necessary to sail in this trip. ”

In a follow -up article, Emma shared a powerful message: “I wrote the book I want someone to place in my hands the day we got the diagnosis. This book is for all of us making our way through the unknown with love, grain and courage. You are not alone.”

“The Foret Journey” is scheduled for September 9, just before the World FTD Awareness Week (September 21-28), and will be published in the imprint of Maria Shriver, The Open Field.

According to the description of the book, Emma left the doctor’s office that day, and “everything that was given to them was a brochure and said to come back in a few months. Without hope or direction ”.

He added: “Emma came out of the appointment of this doctor frozen for fear, confusion and a feeling that his world had just collapsed.”

“In fact, that had done it. Bruce and Emma wrote their story and their future cartoed,” continued the description. “However, all these dreams collapsed with this diagnosis, and Emma felt alone and more isolated than ever. How would she take care of her husband while parent of their young girls?”

By thinking about what she calls her “unexpected journey”, Emma also spoke of the large -scale impact of dementia.

“Dementia not only affects your beloved, but can shake the foundations of the whole family, and yourself, if you allow it,” she said.

For the model, the search for good resources, knowledge and clarity gave him the strength to continue and “being the best mother, woman, daughter, friend and care partner”.

“I want to be able to share this with the next person who finds himself here,” she said.

The actress “Red 2” has often used her platform to highlight the emotional work and the silent force of caregivers, especially after the death of Gene Hackman and his wife, Betsy Arakawa.

Going on Instagram to share a sincere message, she wrote: “So it’s not something I would comment on normally, but I really believe that there is a certain learning in this story with regard to the tragic death of Mr. and Mrs. Hackman.”

Emma continued: “It made me think of this broader story, and it is that caregivers also need care. And that they are vital, and that it is so important that we present to them so that they can continue to present themselves to their person.”
