Cyrus, 32, bought the beaded Bob Mackie dress she wore to perform at the 2024 Grammys at Julien’s “Hollywood Legends: Unmistakably Mackie” auction last weekend.
The dress memorably featured a bra top adorned with silver crystal chains, backless straps and a fringed skirt made of multi-colored gemstones.
At the time, Cyrus paired the glitzy design with strappy black heels, diamond drop earrings and a voluminous blowout.
“This dress is more than a performance: it’s a celebration of the relationship between music, art and glamour,” Cyrus said of her look. People. “That performance was a pivotal moment in my life and having the support of Bob Mackie to achieve it means everything to me.”

Cyrus’ Bob Mackie outfit wasn’t the only fabulous ensemble she wore to the Grammys. Strutting her stuff on the red carpet, the singer looked ethereal in a Maison Margiela masterpiece featuring a beaded silhouette that left very little to the imagination.
She then donned a sequined Gucci dress by Sabato De Sarno before accepting the Record of the Year award. The coffee brown number featured a one-shoulder neckline, thigh-high slit and fitted bodice. A winning fashion moment, indeed!
