If you have already had your scruples to rent an airbnb in favor of a hotel, then you will probably want to look at 202222 Barbarous with caution. I am not saying that each time you book a stay with a foreigner, you will end up trapped in a series of tunnels under their property, but you can never exclude situations like this when you are on the road and need a place to hang your hat for the night.
Benefiting from more twists and turns than a corkscrew seated next to the wine bottle that you plan to share with your unexpected roommate, Barbarous is equally dark and hilarious, and has more tricks in his sleeve than a street magician trying to make money quickly.
It starts with a sloppy reservation

Barbarous Immediately withdraws from the wrong foot when a young professional named Tess (Georgina Campbell) arrives in his rental house in a dilapidated district of Detroit. Having realized that the house was double reserved – a worse spell that death – Tess is alarmed when a man named Keith (Bill Skarsgard) answers the door and let it in. Having nowhere else to stay, Tess takes Keith on his offer, but keeps his guard because he is a perfect unknown, and just a little too hospital given the circumstances.
After a successful job interview, the reason why she travels first, Tess is continued in the house by a homeless. Find a shelter in the basementTess discovers a hidden door that leads to a sinuous labyrinth that apparently has no end.
In the meantime, Barbarous presents his second story on the owner of the house, a television actor named AJ (Long Justin). Facing legal issues on the allegations of sexual misconduct of one of its co-stars, AJ goes to Detroit to assess the property and put it on the market so that it can cover its expenses, because it comes to be dismissed from his program and must reassess his finances.
Tess learns that a distorted woman occupies the basement where she has been captive, and several other women in the past have encountered a macabre spell in the underground bunker. Through a flashback sequence, Barbarous Presentation of Frank (Richard Blake), the original owner of the property, who stops at the supermarket, bringing together supplies to facilitate a birth at home.
Not a comedy, but not without humor

Never threw all his cards on the table, Barbarous Presentation of several stories that all come to the same astonishing conclusion which will deposit your jaw directly through the ground. But as terrifying as the situation of Tess can be, Barbarous is not without sense of humor. I didn’t think I found myself laughing when I read the film’s synopsis HuluBut watching AJ take out a ribbon to measure to calculate the dimensions of the unearthed prison which he has just discovered under his house is a hilarious sequence because he never stops once to consider the implications, but rather the wonders if the Additional square sequence would increase the value of his house.
Barbarous You will constantly be careful to ask you who knows what at the time when the title card drops, throughout the closing credits. One thing that I know with certainty after looking at this horror thriller is that the next time I need to spend the night outside the city, I will probably take my chance with the sheets at the quinta of The highway instead of renting a room through a property sharing application.
To date, you can broadcast Barbarous With an active Hulu subscription.
