Aunt of Lewis Deidra Divadoll Elkkerson confirmed his death via Facebook Tuesday, February 25, writing: “My fabulous talented nephew, Sha’vi Lewis, started from this place. I will no longer hear her greetings to me, “hey aunt diva” (yes, I cry). »»

The family did not reveal the cause of Lewis’ death.

Lewis (full name Franklin ‘Shavi’ Lewis Frierson Jr.) grew up in New Jersey before perfecting his job at Clark Atlanta University. Before his death, the designer worked as creative director of the Italian men’s clothing company Stephen F. and produced his own clothing collection.
Some of his creations were presented on Emmys red carpets and in season 2 of Laid as well as on celebrities, especially Leah Janae And Cynthia Bailey. In 2019, Lewis won even more Project track.
