Christy Carlson Romano said her life has “changed deeply” since she was slaughtered by celebrating her husband’s birthday.
The actress offered fans another overview of her recovery when she shared a new video via Instagram Thursday, February 27. “It’s been 3 weeks since I was killed and my life has changed deeply,” she wrote in the legend of the video.
“I feel more grateful than I have never felt it in my life and I healed really well. Every day, for me, is a gift, ”she continued. “I was so closed by sharing things in my life that I loved for fear of being judged. Now I don’t care.
The actress nominated at the Emmy Emmy promised the fans she “shared more on my hobbies, my passions, my comedy, my family, just things that are close to my heart”, while she continues with her recovery.
“It could be me singing in the car, it could be my obsession for skin care and beauty, fashion, or cooking, or I acting like a total bizarre with my husband,” she explained. “If it brings me joy and it doesn’t hurt anyone, I do it.”
She added: “Besides, as I told you @thebrendanrooney, I was shot, and I will eat all the fucking Oreos, wherever I want!”
Romano revealed In a video published via Instagram on February 7, that she had been shot in her eyes while she and her husband were shooting clay pigeons. “So I was shot in the eyes. It was not fun, ”she explained at the time.
“I am very grateful to the first speakers as a whole,” she continued. “I mean, these are only the most incredible people like superheroes to take care of us at our most desperate moments.”
Romano then made a gesture towards his eye, telling his fans that his injury “is really bad tonight”.
“Everything is sort of erased. But, I can say that I was shot and I lived to tell the story. She concluded: “Be grateful every day”.
In the legend of his video, Romano entered in more detail on what happened that day. “There was another celebration with us and they had to get back in the wrong direction and shot me on the face,” she wrote.
“I was touched in 5 places, one was less than an inch to hit me directly in my right eye,” continued the legend. “Unfortunately, a fragment was housed behind my eye and it is too risky to surgically remove at this time. Doctors will continue to watch me (I can normally see for the moment). »»
She added: “With everything that happened, everything I can think of, it is how grateful I am to be alive. I love my daughters, my husband, my family and my friends so much. I saw my life flash before my eyes and I tell you, hug people around you whenever you can. Life can change in an instant. 🙏. “”
