Before Yellowstone dominated American television and helped Taylor Sheridan to forge an empire, he was an actor; one of those who appeared in parts, before Son of anarchy gave him his biggest role to date, as deputy David Hale. We now know that the true talent of Sheridan was behind the camera, especially since the first feature film he wrote has become one of the greatest criminal thrillers of the last decade and a decisive success of the genre. SicarioA grainy story of the CIA, the FBI, and cartels which are back in the Top 10 of Netflix, helped Taylor Sheridan on the map and its success was the first step towards its current historical success.
Sicario would be a success in a decade
Sicario Hit in theaters in 2015, but a large part of the attraction of the film is that it would have been a success in 1995, even 2025 if he made his debut directly on Netflix. There is nothing really original in history, but that’s what it is that when you look at him playing that stays with you and helps explain the lasting attraction of Sheridan’s work.
The start of a criminal franchise
