Jonathan Owens kicked off the Chicago Bears football game on Sunday, December 22 with his usual pre-kickoff kiss from his wife, Simone Biles.

Biles, 27, met Owens, 29, on the sidelines at Soldier Field in Chicago on Sunday afternoon before the start of the game, where he gave the Olympic gymnast a sweet kiss on the cheek.

Biles came to watch her husband’s NFL team take on the Detroit Lions in a cozy-chic outfit. She wore a black puffer jacket with a matching fuzzy bucket hat from Prada.

For glamour, Biles rocked her hair in braids.

The gymnast and Owens have been married since April 2023 and they frequently support each other. For Biles, she’s part of Owen’s NFL games, where they often shares a kiss before kick-off.

Owens also enjoys cheering on Biles at gymnastics competitions, even receiving special permission to skip a few days of Bears training camp to watch her at the Paris Olympics last summer.

“You don’t need a lot of motivation, just because you don’t want to put extra pressure on anyone,” Owens told exclusively Us every week in July. “I just tell her, ‘Go do your thing, baby.’… As long as she’s here, she’s on the field, kiss her and we can move on.”

He continued at the time: “You get a different type of focus every time you just focus on that one person. And I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with being single, but for me, knowing myself, I’ve played a lot better since then. [meeting Simone]I’ve just been focused and cooped up, and you come home and talk about my day and play with the dogs, you know what I mean? It’s just kind of our thing.

Owens has come a long way since initially he didn’t even recognize Biles when they crossed paths on Raya dating app in 2020.

“[I] had been on [Raya] for a few days, then it appears. I’m like, ‘Let me see who that is,'” the NFL safety recalled on “The Pivot” podcast in a December 2023 episode. “I never really paid attention to gymnastics, so that piqued my curiosity [and I was like]’I’ll see what happens.’

When they first met, Owens was playing for the Houston Texans, based near Biles’ gymnastics practice facility. After Biles and Owens got married last year, they began building their dream home in the Lone Star State.

“At this point, we’ve waited so long for it to be built, we’ll just wait for construction to finish. [NFL] season to move in”, Biles said We last month. “Right now, they’re doing all the work in the garden. Jonathan wanted a half basketball court, a barbecue, all the good things. We installed an in-ground trampoline and a swimming pool.

Biles continued: “We should close pretty soon. I’m going there in two weeks to check again on where we are, but we’re literally almost there.
