Season 3 of “Strange New Worlds” was long to come, especially after The daring cliffhanger that the second season has left us. Now Paramount has published an exciting new teaser presenting what the next share of episodes has in store for us. The images can be light on the plot, but it is certainly heavy in the tone and the hijinks. Did we expect more and less from the writing team that brought us a medieval fantastic episode, a total reinvention of the formidable Gorn, and more? The cast that we have known and that we love is back for another space adventure on the USS Enterprise, and each teasing episode seems to work in a completely different kind of the previous one. Oh, and there is certainly one or two special appearance along the way.

“Strange New Worlds” is probably the closest trekks ever feeling united on any modern episode of “trek” these days. The fans had trouble at the start to climb the same humorous wavelength as the animated series “Lower decks”, while “Discovery” was rather incoherent from the start. There is therefore something perfectly appropriate that the most little suspended from everyone, with a cast transfer of “Discovery”, is the one that makes us wait impatiently.

No, your eyes do not deceive you. Season 3 of “Strange New Worlds” certainly seems to tease an episode taken directly from the aesthetics of the 1960s of “The Original Series”, an episode of murder of the Agatha Christie type, and, yes, no other than Patton Oswalt adapted as a Vulcan.
