Friday, John gave more details on the way of worsening his vision problems during an interview with The Times of London.
He said by Bbc“I can see you, but I don’t see television, I can’t read.”
The Rock & Roll icon also thought about how his eye problems affected his relationship with his sons, Zachary, 14, and Elijah, 12.
He said, “I don’t see my boys playing rugby and football, and it was a very stressful period because I used to dip everything.”
John continued: “You become emotional, but you have to get used to it because I am lucky to have the life I have.”
He concluded: “I always have my wonderful family, and I can always see something [my left eye]. So you say to yourself: “Contine you.” »»

The emblematic singer reveals that he has contracted a serious eye infection
In the post, he wrote: “During the summer, I faced a serious eye infection which unfortunately left me a limited vision in one eye.”
He added: “I heal, but it is an extremely slow process and it will take some time before the view returns to the touched eye.”
John thanked his family and the “excellent” health professionals who took care of him in the midst of his health crisis.
He concluded by saying that he “felt positive” about his progress in healing and recovery.

Sir Elton John on how the loss of sight affected his music
On November 25, 2024, John appeared on “Good Morning America” and shared that the eye infection he had suffered in summer lose vision in his right eye.
This sad development had an impact on his ability to create music. He explained, by Bbc“I unfortunately lost my sight in my right eye in July because I had an infection in the south of France.”
He continued: “It’s been four months now that I couldn’t see. And my left eye is not the biggest.”
On his inability to work on something new musically, John said: “There is hope and encouragement that everything will be fine.”

Elton John says he has now “lost” his sight
On December 1, 2024, Sir Elton John attended the launch of the red carpet of “The Devil Wears Prada: The Musical” at the London Dominion Theater.
The legendary singer said, “As some of you may know, I have had problems, and now I have lost your sight. I couldn’t see the performance, but I appreciated it.”
He also said: “It is difficult for me to see him, but I like to hear it and, my boy, it sounded well tonight.”
The musician, who was accompanied by her husband, David Farnish, to the event, awarded him to have supported her since his sight deteriorated.
