Each longtime franchise will have some stumbling up here and there, although Stargate has fewer stumbling up than other 30-year science fiction franchises. He has one who is so disappointing, that is not part of the barrel. No, it’s not Stargate universe or one of the direct DVD films, they followed in the footsteps of Stargate SG-1to mixed results, but they tried. Stargate Infinity, On the other hand, there is a cartoon for children that has been made without any of the creators of the franchise, stars, production teams or even involved studios, making it the strangest and least successful part of the favorite franchise for fans.
Infinitely and beyond
30 years in the future, Stargate Infinity clearly indicates from the start, it is a show for children, not fans, by failing a group of adolescents away from the earth. Until they find the evidence to prove that their mentor, the former SGC officer, Gus Bonner, did not send men under his command in an ambush, they are on the run and investigating other worlds, meeting strange cultures and developing the public at the same time. The well -intentioned message of the series was delivered with all the grace and subtlety of a hammer, and if the concept of the show seems far from being deleted from Stargate SG-1This is because no one in production was watching the series.
No episode underlines the disconnection between Stargate Infinity and the rest of the franchise like episode 7, “Phobia”, when Stacey, one of the teenagers, beats a spider stranger Before learning, they are not only sensitive, but a species that loves peace which then puts it in trial for aggression. The lesson on prejudices is so subtle that you may have missed it.
