NBA star Anthony Edwards and influencer Ayesha Howard Welcomed a girl together in October 2024 – but their tumultuous relationship was mainly played in the courtroom.

According to In contactWho reported the news for the first time, Edwards’ lawyers asked for genetic tests to be carried out. “Edwards is entitled to an order obliging the parties to suffer genetic tests. If genetic tests show that Edwards is the father, Edwards requests an order establishing the paternity of the minor child,” said his petition.
The petition continued: “Edwards does not know any other person or entity, and not party to this case, with the physical guard of the minor child or claims to have duties of childcare or visit concerning the minor child. In addition, Edwards has never participated as a party or witness or any other title in any other dispute. ”

Howard gave birth to Aubri on October 14.

The day after Howard gave birth, Edwards filed a new request in his paternity trial.
In documents obtained by US WeeklyEdwards asked for DNA tests by a “neutral and approved laboratory” to determine if he is the father.
Edwards asked that genetic tests be carried out on the unborn baby. If the tests proved that Edwards was the father, he asked for a prescription establishing the paternity and the child alimony of the baby.
The documents indicated that Edwards were not aware of any other person with physical guard or visit rights.

Howard asked that Edwards will reimburse her for “real costs incurred for her pregnancy, birth and expenses incurred after the birth of the child” and child alimony payments to cover education, education and maintenance of Aubri. She also asked for Edwards covers her legal costs.

According to court documents, Howard said that she had moved to California from Georgia before Aubri’s birth and had no intention of returning.
