The 51-year-old actress took aim at her followers who made unsolicited comments about her appearance via a recent, since-deleted post. Instagram post.
“This isn’t a criticism, but I think you’ve lost too much weight lately,” one follower commented on Tuesday (December 31).
An unimpressed Beckinsale responded to the comment, calling the opinion “useless.”
“If this isn’t a criticism, it’s a completely unnecessary passive-aggressive opinion from someone I don’t know and who knows nothing about my situation,” she fumed. “So the next time you feel like commenting on someone’s body, I suggest you keep that to yourself.”
Other comments on the post also generated applause from the Black Canary star.
“Win a little bigger [sic] It doesn’t hurt,” another commenter wrote, to which Beckinsale replied, “We don’t all want boobs like yours.”
Beckinsale also didn’t hesitate when someone else wrote, “Esta muy delgada.” everything at home? (translated as “She is very thin. Is everything okay at home?”). She replied: “Everything is absolutely brilliant. f— off.
Another person faced Beckinsale’s wrath when she asked, “What happened with K.beckinsale?”
The actress replied: “She is dead. So please send donations and flowers to @refugecharity and I’m canceling Happy New Year. Happy New Year to everyone except you.

This isn’t the first time Beckinsale has been left unimpressed by body shamers commenting on her weight and appearance.
Beckinsale spoke out against a troll in July when they criticized her shape after the actress posted a photo of herself in a swimsuit via Instagram.
“Go do some squats, I think your ass leaked,” the troll wrote.
THE Underworld the star didn’t hesitate to respond to the troll and shared her views on what contributed to her rapid weight loss.
“I looked my father-in-law died What’s pretty shocking is that my mom has stage 4 cancer and I lost a lot of weight from stress and grief pretty quickly,” she wrote.
She later revealed she spent “six weeks” in hospital after her grief “burned a hole in her [her] esophagus,” causing her to “vomit large quantities of blood.”
“I don’t really care what you think about my ass,” she concluded.
Beckinsale’s father-in-law, director Roy Battersby, died at age 87 in January 2024 following a brief illness. At the time, she shared an obituary for him via her Instagram Story and confirmed his death.
“It is with great sadness that the family of film and television director Roy Battersby announces the news of his recent passing after a brief period of illness,” the statement read. “He died peacefully on January 10, 2024, in Los Angeles, surrounded by his family, at the age of 87. The funeral will take place in London, details to follow.”
