Netflix has amassed a really massive library of successful television shows at this stage. Although this list includes favorites often cited such as “Stranger Things” and “Squid Game”, there is Nothing in the streamer library, as is the teenage -to -teen -out series “Outer Banks”. Partly mystery, part partly, partly adventure, they are captivated viewers a little quietly for four seasons now, with a fifth and last season on the way. Although it is generally not thought of among Netflix’s most successful programs, it turned out to be very popular.

“Outdoor banks” focuses on a group of realistic and sometimes insane adolescents Known as Pogues in the external banks of North Carolina. There is a gap between Pogues and Kooks, the name given to the rich seasonal residents. A hurricane kills the power of the summer season and triggers a chain of events that puts the show in motion. First and foremost, the Pogues find themselves in a hunt for a legendary treasure.

Treasure hunt is often a perilous company. With that, the characters found themselves in danger more than a few times. This is the case with Sarah Cameron, played by Madelyn Cline in the series. As a key member of the Pogues, she had a few brushes with the danger – and even death – during the show’s race. But was Sarah died in “External Banks?” Yes and no. Please allow us to explain.

Sarah dies technically in outdoor banks season 2 – but not for a long time

Season 1 of “Exter Banks” ended with John B (Chase Stokes) and Sarah apparently plunging until their death in the ocean. It is therefore Sarah’s first brush with death that must be addressed. We quickly learn in season 2 that John B. and Sarah survived so that they can seek gold, which is in the Bahamas.

Season 2 starts with a blow, quite literally. John B. and Sarah have a good line on gold, but Ward (Charles Eston) and Rafe (Drew Starkey) also have their eyes on the treasure. In the middle of the fighting, Rafe shoots Sarah. Indeed, he shoots his own sister. Drama! After the shooting, the Pogues lose gold, but, more importantly, he falls towards John B to try to save the life of Sarah by taking him to a slightly shady doctor.

Madelyn Cline, which viewers can also recognize from “Glass Onion”, is one of the main players in the show. So killing it did not seem likely. However, in the aftermath of the shot, it seemed that it was there that the show was heading. Sarah actually lineed on the doctor’s table, which means yes, she died, at least a little. But the show had other plans, which means that it did not remain dead for a long time.

The total refusal of John B to accept his death led her to interpret the RCR on her until she returned somewhat miraculously to life. In terms of very simply, Sarah died for a short time before being brought back to life. So yes, she died, but she has not been dead for a very long time. Is this the most realistic renewal of a television program? Probably not. Anyway, Sarah lived to hunt the treasure for another day, passing so far through the series. Cline will see him until the end, because she will also come back for season 5.

Sarah had several brushes with death in outdoor banks

What is remarkable is that Sarah’s ball wound in season 2 was not the only time she had a brush with death in “Outle Banks”. Sarah and John B, Played by Chase Stokes, which viewers can also recognize from “Uglies” ,,,,,,, “ had their fair share of danger during four seasons in the series. As mentioned, John B. and Sarah fell into the ocean at the end of season 1, apparently their destiny. However, they lived so that Sarah could be killed and die briefly at the start of season 2.

It was not even even Sarah’s only brush with death in season 2, because Rafe also tries to drown it in a later episode. In season 3, Sarah knows a horrible tragedy when she is almost killed by Carlos Singh, with her father intervening to save her by sacrificing herself. Then, in season 4, she falls into the ocean and JJ fails to save her, with Sarah dying once again to survive miraculously.

To say that it was a treacherous journey for Sarah Cameron would be a dramatic and euphemism. In an interview in 2023 with Weekly entertainmentCline thought about her trip as Sarah and how proud she is after all she lived.

“The way I felt at the end of the season was proud because Sarah went through so much and she came out so strong. She learned so much about herself in such a short time at such a young age, and she is very, very badass. She finally got out of the bubble, and that’s what she always wanted.”
