Growing up, I have always done all that my father told me, but it was quite simple that most ordinary children should do. When the grass became too large in the backyard, I was asked to help with the care of the lawn, and if I wanted to go out with my friends on weekends, I almost always had permission as long as my homework was done in a timely time. This is all that my father was, and is always a very reasonable man, and I thank my lucky stars every day that I did not live in a 2001 version FragilityWhere the kind of request from the figure of authority in the household implies by removing supposed demons, by murdering them in the hidden cellar under the tool hangar and by buried them in a rose garden.

FragilityThe beginnings of director of Bill Paxton, is a horrible look at a tense family dynamic that only aggravates as time passes because the supernatural forces, or, at the very least, a psychotic break is at stake. Unlike so many other psychological horror films that have come and have left since its release, you will not find yourself fully namely what is going well in its third act because Fragility Play her gloved hand very close to her chest.

Two boys and their father

Fragility is presented as a series of flashbacks told by Fenton Meiks (Matthew McConaughey) to the FBI agent Wesley Doyle (Powers Boothe). Fenton, who went to Dallas, Texas, to face the agent, admits that his brother, Adam, is the elusive serial killer responsible for the killings known as murders in the hand of God who took place in his hometown of Thurman, Texas. Declaring that Adam’s recent suicide is the catalyst for a long -awaited confession, Fenton is ready to face his past and offer closer to the case.

Initially skeptical that fenton tells the truth about killings FragilityWesley listens to his story, which ultimately gives him reasons to believe his claims because he is aware of information on serial murders who are not known to the public.

The assassinations of the hand of God

Fragère 2001

In 1979, we were initiated into the young father of Fenton (Matt O’Leary) and Adam (Jeremy Sumper), simply known as Dad (Bill Paxton). According to all the measures, Dad is a grandfather who cares deeply about his children and does his best as a widower to make sure they have a good life. After being visited by an angel in his dreams, the personality of dad moves spectacularly FragilityAs he was told that he was appointed by God to destroy demons disguised as humans who walk on earth, and that it is his call in life to eliminate them with the three weapons that would be revealed to him later: an ax, a pair of gloves and a pipe.

While Adam seems to be on the abduction and murder of citizens who look human but are supposed to be demons, Fenton is shaken with his heart and resists daddy’s instructions at each stage of the path. Brutally punished for his insubordination, Fenton finds himself responsible for the monolithic duty to dig a massive hole in the courtyard which will work like a dungeon and murder room which would be hidden under the tool hangar so that dad can perform his heinous crimes. Sincerely believing that he performs the will of God and protected by the Lord by doing so, Dad becomes more and more violent while the number of bodies begins to climb, using his sons as aid to help have bodies.

A masterclass in bad orientation

The Fenton’s story of his childhood to agent Wesley is the cloth of the nightmares FragilityBut this is only the start of the tension that you feel as a spectator. Although the current Fenton clearly wants to help close the investigation with the information he kept private to this point in his life, Wesley keeps him lengthwise, and even holds him while trying to gather the parts thanks to an appropriate police protocol. Fenton seems just a little too comfortable to in line into the series of murders because even if he was an innocent child who was afraid for his life when his father came out of the bottom, he was an accomplice of his actions at the end of the day.

Although his story plays him 100% right, Fragility will continue to surprise you because the Fenton flashbacks come from a sincere place, but it is not every day that an adult man admits having an inner knowledge of a brutal chain of non -resolved murders who have frightened his premises community for decades. As the story takes place, you will be shocked by each twist and turn that is taken because there can be more in the history of dad than he leaves it.

An effective psychological horror film for each measure, Fragility will leave you amazed because he retains the answers to all the questions she raises until the moment is right.

To discover his killings, his family drama and his conclusion of bone cooling, you can broadcast Fragility Free with advertisements via Prime Video (formerly known as Freevee) to date.
