If there is something for which Marvel Studios has a direct interest, they are team films. All the adventures “Avengers” have been presented as events, with a Who’s Who of Name in roles with your favorite comic strip characters. “The Marvels” of 2023 tried to recover part of this magic to mixed results, while the deeply odious “Deadpool & Wolverine” has become a huge winner and a record. But the biggest surprise to get out of the Marvel cinematographic universe is “Guardians of the Galaxy” and how his disjointed space has been able to propel a trilogy of films that are still among the best in the studio.

Half of the pleasure of these films watched the marvel characters, previously obscure, to put themselves in the spotlight and to see how they were playing with each other. The Guardians were the outsiders who had to prove themselves among the list of the most popular characters in the studio. The same challenge now applies to the next “Thunderbolts *”, whose programming includes an anti-hero collective “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier”, “Black Widow” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp”. This is essentially Marvel’s response to DC’s “Suicide Squad”.

I am carefully optimistic about “Thunderbolts *” simply because he has Florence Pugh, David Harbor, Sebastian Stan and Wyatt Russell in the throat of the other. The first reactions to the projections of the film give the impression that Marvel has a winner on his handsWhoever looks like a return to form. The problem of making comparisons to “die hard” is that The action film led by John McTiernan concerns the power of a defective individual overcoming a team of bad guys to save the woman he loves. I could imagine a version of “Thunderbolts *” where Valentina hired this crew to prevent a character from getting what he wants. What part of this initial project entered the film? We will have to wait a few more days to find out.
